Packing List

Condover Hall 2016 Packing List

Luggage: large suitcase + one piece of hand luggage if required (the children do not have to carry them far!)

Indoor/Activity Clothes:
5 T-shirts/long-sleeved t-shirts
3-4 pairs of warm trousers- jogging bottoms/cargo pants (please note that jeans are NOT ALLOWED for many activities)
5 jumpers/sweatshirts/cardigans/fleeces
8-10 sets of underwear/socks
2 towels
Deodorant/toothpaste/soap/shower gel/shampoo

Hair bobbles for long hair
Slippers for indoor use
Swimming Costume

Lip Balm/salve

Outdoor Clothes:
Strong, warm and waterproof walking boots
3 pairs of thick socks suitable for wearing under walking boots
1-2 pairs of old trainers
Hat/Gloves/Scarf
Warm and waterproof outdoor coat

Optional
A set of thermals or a ‘base layer’ (Highly recommended!)
A set of ‘Disco Clothes’
A torch

A drinks bottle
1/2 disposable cameras or a cheap digital camera
Waterproof over-trousers

You DO NOT need…
Rucksack (unless children want to take a small pack for carrying drinks/waterproofs)
Please note you SHOULD NOT pack any items that are valuable or precious e.g. mp3 players, expensive digital cameras, handheld games- neither school nor Condover Hall can be held liable for items that are damaged or lost.

NO MOBILE PHONES please.

PLEASE NAME OR INITIAL EVERY ITEM OF CLOTHING FOR EASY RETURN TO OWNERS AT THE END OF THE TRIP!

Welcome to our Condover Hall 2016 Blog

This is the blog for the Chad Vale Primary School Condover Hall 2016 residential trip. We'll be posting lots of news, photos and video throughout the week on here. Please bookmark or favourite and return in February 2016!

The Y5/6 Condover Hall trip is Monday 8th-12th February and the children are already getting extremely excited! We will soon be sorting out the activity groups, finalising the the program information and choosing our rooms! 

Thank-you to everyone who has made full payment for the trip. Could you please arrange to make any outstanding payments as soon as possible, as the school has already made full payment on your behalf.

I enclose with this letter a further packing list and some other information that you may find useful about the trip. If you have any further questions please do catch me on the playground in the mornings or after school, or alternatively, email me at p.sansom@chadvale.bham.sch.uk. 

You may wish to give your child the opportunity to earn some spending money over the next few weeks by doing jobs around the house! The shop and vending machines on-site will be available and we would recommend children bring no more than £10, in change, so that they can buy drinks/snacks throughout the week.
